Absolar have recently completed a ground-breaking project with the Royal Air Force to establish their solar potential across certain parts of their estate.
This flagship project set out to identify where rooftop solar, solar carports and ground mounted solar farms could be implemented across RAF land in order to contribute to their Net Zero targets.
Unique Remote Solar Survey tools were used to remotely assess the estates which drastically reduced the timescale of undertaking the review. The results were provided in different ways to suit various users, including executive summary reports, spreadsheet data of each identified site providing detailed information and an interactive map that allows easy filtering and high-level views.
