Absolar Solutions Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2027.
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
There has been no previous reporting due to the shared office and our baseline year will be the current reporting year. The office has been moved to the current location from 1st August 2021. Being a service provider and due to the current structure of the company, scope 3 carbon emissions are not measured currently.
Baseline emissions result from electricity usage to provide heating, lighting, and power to our office and private vehicles used to attend client sites.
EMISSIONS TOTAL (tCO2e)
Scope 1 0.97
Scope 2 0.55
Scope 3 N.Q

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 0.55 tCO2e by 2025 This is a reduction of 63%
Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:
To achieve 2025 set targets, the company is planning to make more sustainable traveling plans, moving entirely to electric vehicles (underway). In addition, to achieve net zero by the year 2027 electricity will be from renewable sources.
We will measure our scope 3 emissions and develop pathways to Net Zero for these emissions. The majority of our scope 3 emissions currently come from server usage and cloud computing, of which carbon neutral options are already utilised.
